What is NYEA 2018?
The National Youth Entrepreneurship Awards (NYEA) 2018 is a national award that celebrates the achievements of outstanding students who have displayed entrepreneurial qualities and recognises their contributions to the startup ecosystem. There are three award groups, namely open category, university and post-secondary.

$200In addition, awardees would also receive resources to support their entrepreneurial journey, including:
1) ACE Startups Membership
2) Participation in BACECAMP
3) Quest Family Benefits worth up to USD 770,000TIMELINE
APPLICATION
ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants up to the age of 28 as of 1 January 2018 are eligible to participate in the Post-Secondary and University Category. Applicants up to the age of 35 as of 1 January 2018 are eligible to participate in the Open Category.
- Applicants are not required to own a business entity.
- All applications from the post-secondary and university category are to be endorsed by a staff from the school’s Enterprise Centre / Professor from the school before submission.

ENDORSE
For the Post-Secondary and University categories, approach the entrepreneurship centres of your respective educational institutions to get an endorsement.
SUBMISSION
Submit the application form to submit@edgesociety.org.
Check that you have received a confirmation of the receipt of the application within 7 working days of submission.
JUDGING RUBRICS
Nominees would be judged on the following:
- Personal Development (5%)
- Achievements in entrepreneurship (35%)
- Contributions to entrepreneurial ecosystem and/or community through entrepreneurship (35%)
- Entrepreneurial qualities/ potential (25%)MEDIA
